I've spent over 20 years building technology systems that businesses depend on every day. Large organizations, complex infrastructure, the kind of work where if something breaks at 2 AM, you're the one who gets the call. That taught me how to build things that run without babysitting.
A few years ago I started talking to small business owners around me. Contractors, law firms, dental practices, service companies doing a few million a year. They had the same problems I'd been solving for large organizations, just in different packaging. Leads sitting untouched for hours. Invoices nobody followed up on. Customer data scattered across a dozen tools that didn't connect. The difference was they didn't have a technical team or a big budget to fix any of it.
